Vision
Flagstaff is a very unique and diverse city. The culture and values present within our community are hard to find in most other cities. We live in a special place and I intend to do everything in my power to make sure Flagstaff remains that way.I envision Flagstaff becoming the most sustainable community in Arizona. I will push for green jobs and green building projects by promoting positive environmental policies within Flagstaff. Growth is inevitable, especially with Northern Arizona University breaking record enrollment every year, but I believe with proper leadership we can embrace progress while not losing the character that draws so many new people to our City.
I love living in Flagstaff and I want my son's generation to have the same experience 20 years from now. For that to be possible we must become more sustainable from an environmental, social, and economical standpoint. We will need leaders who will focus on fiscal responsibility and creating a green, sustainable, and highly goal oriented economy. All of this while providing citizens with basic necessities such as proper eduction, protection, health services, alternative energy and affordable housing.
If elected, I promise to be progressive and focus on the future, but more importantly I will stand committed to ensuring the ideals that make this city what it is today continue to endure long into the future.
This is my vision, and I believe it is also the vision of the most people in Flagstaff. That is why I've chosen to run for city council. This campaign is the campaign of You, the campaign of the collective voices of Flagstaff. I listen and I direct myself and my goals based on what the people want and more importantly what they need in order for our city to flourish. I have no personal Agenda. I am simply an every day citizen who possesses leadership qualities that I hope to use to provide needed direction to our city government.
